Priyadarshini Chatterjee Biography 
Priyadarshini Chatterjee is a successful Indian model from Assam who has been crowned Femina Miss India World 2016 during a star-studded ceremony held at Yash Raj Studios Mumbai on 9th April 2016. This Assam girl will represent India at Miss World 2016 in the global platform. Sushruthi Krishna is Femina Miss India 2016 first runner-up and Pankhuri Gidwani announced as the second runner-up, and both will represent India at Miss International 2016 and Miss Grand International beauty pageants respectively. The show was hosted by filmmaker Karan Johar and Manish Paul and celebrities like Shah Rukh Khan, Varun Dhawan and Shahid Kapoor attended the function. Priyadarshini is Femina Miss India Delhi 2016.
Priyadarshini Chatterjee hails from Guwahati, Assam. She completed schooling from Maria Paublic School, Guwahati. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s degree at Hindu College, Delhi. A freelancer model, she shot to fame after being chosen as Femina Miss India Delhi 2016. Priyadarshini also bagged the subtitles - Prayag Miss Photogenic, Mobstar Miss Entertainer, Centro Miss Rampwalk and Fbb Miss Talented. She shared the subtitle ‘fbb Miss Talented’ with Akshita Yadav. The success in the beauty pageant also gave her direct entry to Miss India Contest. Apart from modelling, dance, theatre, travelling and trekking are the main interests of Miss. Chatterjee.
She was announced as the winner of Femina Miss India - the most coveted beauty pageant of India at Yash Raj Studios Mumbai on 9th April 2016. Shah Rukh khan made an electrifying performance with the top five beauties of the show. All the top 5 finalists were asked the same question: ‘What are the qualities of a Miss India, and why do you think you should be crowned the next Miss India 2016?’ Her winning answer was, ‘Miss India should be true to herself, she should have a personality to reflect who she is. My personality reflects that and that is why I should be the next Miss India.’
She was crowned by Aditi Arya, Miss India 2015. 21 beauties across the country participated in this most glamorous beauty contest. She also bagged the subtitle - Miss Rampwalk at Miss India contest.
