Pritam Kagne is an Indian actress who predominantly works in Marathi cinema. She also appears in Bollywood and south Indian films. Pritam mostly plays lead roles and at a few times, parallel lead or second lead too. She played supporting roles in Bollywood movies like 31st October released in 2016. She played lead role in Rangel, Mr. Bean, Navra Majha Bhovra, Sangharshyatra, Mile Jab Chora Chori etc. Bajaar, Bokad and Aata Majhi Hatli are other noted appearances. Kagne recently appeared in India Today Magazine. She is an acclaimed Marathi stage actress who received best actress for herdebut performance in Ajab Lagnachi Gajab Goshta.

Pritam was born on 29 August 1988. Laxman Kagne and Surekha Kagne are her parents. She has one brother Amol Kagne who is a producer, actor and director. She started her film journey with a Malayalam movie, Mr. Bean in 2013. She played one among the three female leads aside Avanthika Mohan and Kriti Kapoor in this comedy flick which bombed at box office. Same year she debut Marathi cinema with Bokad, followed by Navra Maza Bhavra. She was also featured in Bollywood film 31st October in a supporting role, and Marathi feature film Halal (2015) which was screened at the Cannes Film Festival and Goa Film Festival, and many more international film festivals.

Pritam is passionate about acting and also committed to her social responsibility. An audiologist and speech therapist by profession, Pritam worked at a hospital in Pune for a while before she pursued acting seriously. She played the character of a model in ‘Navra Majha Bhavra’, which was the debut film of Nilesh Sable. She also made her debut on Marathi stage, with the comedy play ‘Ajab Lagnachi Gajab Goshta’ and won Best actress award, for her performance. Pritam is now mostly associated with Marathi cinema, though she is a seasoned actress in Bollywood.
