Prem Anand Biography

Prem Anand is a very successful music director and composer associated with Odia cinema. He has also composed music for Bollywood and Marathi films. His songs of 2017 Odia film, Tu Mo Love Story were chartbusters. Ananya Nanda sang majority of its sound tracks. He composed the songs of Hindi comedy film, ‘Dekh Bhai Dekh’ and Marathi movie ‘Short Cut’. 'Tuch Tu Tuch Tu' from 'Short Cut’ was an instant chartbuster. He worked with all leading singers of Odisha, and has earned praises.

 

Tu Mo Dehara Chhai, Bachelor, Mita Basichi Mun Bhuta Sathire, Hata Dhari Chalutha, Parshuram, Chanda Na tame Tara, Something Something Katak, Chandini I Miss You, Aalo Mora Kandhei, Pagala Karichi Paunji Tora, Rasika Nagara, Bhaina Kan Kala Se,Gote Sua Gote Sari, Hela Mate Prema Jara etc are the Odia films for which he composed music. He predominantly works in Odia film industry.

 

Prem Anand hails from Cuttack, Odisha. Anand started his career from Jatra World, before joining film industry. Currently he is one of the reputed composers of Ollywood. Combining Jatra World, private albums and film songs, he has composed over 8000 songs, predominantly in independent music and album songs. His song ‘Shila I Love you’ became a big hit on You Tube. Prem Anand believes in his own creativity, and in the past years he managed to create a niche of himself in his profession. ‘Dekh Bhai Dekh’ and ‘Plan B’ are among his works in Bollywood. He is all set to gain foot in Hindi film industry.

 

The ace composer has delivered some of very popular Odia songs in the past one decade. ‘Ole Ole Dil Bole’ was his 15th film, which included some memorable songs. He has also won numerous awards and accolades for his work. Most of his musical ventures have been commercially successful.
