Praveen Kumar Biography 
Praveen Kumar is an Indian cricketer who plays for the Indian team. He is a right handed batsman and medium pace swing bowler. He plays for Uttar Pradesh team in the first class cricket matches. He has played for many teams like India team, India Red team, Air India, Kings XI Punjab, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Uttar Pradesh team.
He was born on 2nd October 1986 in Meerut in Uttar Pradesh. His father’s name is Sakat Singh and his mother’s name is Murti Devi. His father is a head constable in Meerut. His native is Laprana Village of Shamli area of Muzaffar Nagar district.
He made his first class debut on 23rd November 2005 against Haryana in Kanpur and ODI debut on 18th November 2007 against Pakistan at Jaipur. His first test match was on 20th June 2011 against West Indies at Kingston. He entered T20 series through his debut match against Australia at Melbourne on 1st February 2008.
He played for the Bangalore Royal Challengers and Kings XI Punjab in the IPL match. In recognition of his talents in the game of cricket Kanshi Ram Khel Ratna Purashkar award has been given to him by the Government of Uttar Pradesh on the birthday of Shri Kanshi Ram.
