Prasanth Karuthadathkuni Biography 
Prasanth Karuthadathkuni is an Indian professional footballer who plays for leading clubs of India, and also plays for Indian Super League - professional football league in India. He is of Kerala origin and hails from Kozhikode. He plays as a winger for the Kerala Blasters in ISL. He is associated with professional matches since 2016, and has played for the Indian football clubs such as DSK Shivajians, Chennai City and Kerala Blasters. He has turned active in football most recently, only in 2016. Before that he was an athlete.
Prasanth Karuthadathkuni hails from Kozhikode, Kerala. Initially he was an athlete. Prasanth began his athletic career as a runner and won a bronze medal at a state meet in Kozhikode. He started to play football in 2008. It was his brother who identified his hidden potential as a football, and he encouraged Prasanth to take this game, which he accepted. He represented the Kerala under-14 side in 2010. After that he appeared for selection trials for the AIFF Regional Academy in 2012. He managed to get through trails after a few attempts. He was the only player from Kerala who got selected by AIFF.
He was a part of a regional academy before he was picked up by AIFF. He was associated with AIFF Elite Academy for four years before he was signed by Kerala Blasters for 2016 season. Since then he is associated with the team for three seasons till now, including the ongoing ‘festival’ season. He made his professional debut in the I-League for Chennai City against Bengaluru FC on 14 January 2017. He scored his first professional goal two months later against East Bengal.
