Prasanna Biography 
Prasanna is an Indian film actor who concentrates in Tamil film industry. He entered film industry in 2002 and is active for more than a decade. He also takes up supporting roles together with lead roles. He also works as television presenter.
Prasanna was born on 28th August 1982 in Trichy in Tamil Nadu in an upper middle class Iyer family. His father worked in BHEL factory and his mother is a housewife. He has one younger brother. He studied at BHEL Matriculation Higher Secondary School at Trichy and during his school days, he attracted everyone by his mimicry skills and acting skills. He used to take active part in the school dramas and always wanted to become an actor. He joined Saranathan College of Engineering and completed his degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
He entered film industry in 2002 through his debut movie Five Star which was a moderate success. His family did not like his decision and was unhappy in the beginning. It was gossiped that he was in love with his fellow actress in the film Achamundu! Achamundu!, Sneha in 2009 but he denied the fact. He later married her on 11th May 2012.
After playing supporting roles in some films, Prakash Raj gave him chance to play the lead role in his film Kanda Naal Mudhal and this was a commercially successful movie. He also worked as voice actor in some films including the film by Cheran Pokkisham.
Some of the films that he has acted include Five Star, Ragasiyamai, Kadhal Dot Com, Azhagiya Theeye, Kasthuri Maan, Kanda Naal Mudhal, Seena Thaana 001, Sadhu Miranda, Anjathe, Kannum Kannum, Manjal Veyil, Achamundu! Achamundu!, Naanayam, Goa, Baana Kaathadi, Muran, Chennaiyil Oru Naal, etc.
