Pragati Mehra Biography 
Pragati Mehra is a popular character artist associated with Hindi television. She also appears in south Indian serials belonging to Telugu, Malayalam and Tamil languages. She is a popular model too, who has shot more than 45 TV ads. Pragati has been a part of the popular Hindi shows – Chotti Bahu, Uttaran, Sunaina Mera Sapna Sach Hua, Kumkum - Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan, Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?...Ek Baar Phir, Do Dil Ek Jaan and Kuchh Is Tara. Many of her TV serials have been dubbed to south Indian langauges such as Radha Kalyanam (Telugu), Sindhu Bhairavi, Chinna Marumagal and Chinna Kodalu (Tamil) and Vaalsalyam (Malayalam).
Pragati Mehra hails from Delhi. She was born and brought up in Delhi. Though she grew up as a shy girl, Pragati loves to party and to socialize at present. Chatting on laptop is her best pass time. Cooking and reading are her other hobbies. She loves to read screenplays and non-fiction books. She is single, and currently wants to concentrate on her career. Most recently she was seen in an ad of Kalyan Silks and the ad was shot at Kerala.
She played the role of Divya Thakur or Thakurain for the show, Uttaran aired on Colors channel. She is best known for this character role. The show has already completed more than 1000 episodes. Her role in Choti Bahu - Sawar Ke Rang Rachi was also extremely popular. Till now she has done more than a dozen of television shows belonging to different languages. Pragati got the offer of Uttaran through a social networking site, while she was a part of the popular TV series, Kumkum on Star Plus. Now she has been replaced by Pyumori Mehta.
