Pradyumna Narahalli Biography

Pradyumna Narahalli is a Kannada cine personality, best known as a lyricist, actor, RJ, director and producer in the industry. He marked his debut as an actor and lyricist in the year 2016. He played a supporting role as Gungru (Lucky's Friend) in 2016 Kannada hit movie, Sundaranga Jaana. The film also marked his career beginning as a lyricist. He penned the songs, Kalkond Bitte and Fly Fly... Fly Fly for the movie. He later penned lyrics for the movies – Srikanta, Manasu Malligey, Bruhaspathi etc. He is also associated with Kannada television.

 

Pradyumna Narahalli was born on April 10th, 1988 in Hassan, Karnataka. Somesh Narahalli and Vidya Somesh are his parents. He completed his schooling from Malleswaram. Since the age of 6, he actively participated in school plays. He started doing mimicry while at college, and he completed his engineering degree from M. S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Bangalore. He was also associated with theater during his academic years in Bangalore. He also completed his Master’s in Media & Communication. After a brief stint in Accenture as a software engineer, he quit the job to pursue a career in films and television.

 

He marked his film career as an actor and lyricist in the year 2016, and since then fully active in the field. Since 2002 he is also part of a theatre group called Rangasiri, and his role as 'Ujju' in the play "Matryoshka" has garnered positive reviews. He worked as an executive producer in Suvarna TV channel, and later anchored a few shows and events. He currently works as an RJ in Nammradio, Kannada’s first international online radio. He anchors the popular satire show - ‘Punyaatmaru’ and cookery show, ‘Bisi Bhale Bath’ for the radio station.
