Pradhuman Singh Biography

Pradhuman Singh is a Bollywood actor best known for playing character and supporting roles. He is a theatre artist known as a stage actor, and has also co-scripted a couple of Bollywood films – Blackmail and Tere Bin Laden: Dead or Alive, in the recent past. Till now he was seen in only a few Bollywood movies such as 2010 comedy film, ‘Tere Bin Laden’, its sequel released in 2016, Tere Bin Laden: Dead or Alive, The Zoya Factor, Life Ki Toh Lag Gayi and Dilliwaali Girlfriend etc. The small-budget comedy film, his debut - Tere Bin Laden, brought him to limelight for portraying fake Osama Bin Laden. In the makeup, he had an uncanny resemblance with Laden, which earned him immense popularity.

Pradhuman Singh was brought up in Delhi as a Delhi boy. However his family is from Dehradun and he has also spent his days in Noida, UP. He prefers to call himself as a Delhite. He has worked in Wipro before joining Bollywood, and also had stint with theatre since college days. Evergreen hero Dev Anand is his screen idol, whom he loved to imitate since young. He used to copy the actor’s style and mannerisms. He made an impressive debut through 2010 comedy film, ‘Tere Bin Laden’. As he donned the look of a terrorist in the film, he was not courageous enough to tell about it to his family and friends. But later he loved to hear people calling him Laden.

Apart from his getup as fake Osama Bin Laden, fresh theme and comedy treatment made the movie a sleeper hit. He also reprised the same role in the sequel released in 2016, and has been credited as co-screenwriter. Though the movie gave him immense popularity and recognition, he is still to cement the position in film industry. He was most recently seen in 2019 rom-com based on cricket, superstitions and luck, The Zoya Factor, co-starring Sonam Kapoor and DQ. The movie opened to mixed reviews and was a flop at box office.
