Prabhakar (telugu Actor) Biography

Prabhakar is a Telugu actor who plays supporting roles in Telugu movies. He shot to fame playing the role of Inkoshi, king of Kalakeyas in Baahubali: The beginning in 2015. He has been regularly featured in movies directed by SS Rajamouli since his debut film, Magadheera released in 2009, where he played a brief role. Now he is a busy actor of Telugu cinema, who has appeared in around 80 movies in the past one decade in brief and supporting roles. Sampath Nandi, Vamsi Krishna, K Raghavendra Rao, Sunil Kumar Desai, K. S. Ravikumar, Srinu Vaitla, Trivikram Srinivas, Gunasekhar etc are other leading directors with whom he has associated with.

Prabhakar was born in Husnabad, Karim Nagar, Telangana. His schooling was done in his hometown. For college studies, he moved to Vikarabad. He is married to Rajya Lakshmi, and the couple has one son. He has been given the name Sriram Rajamouli as an honour to the director Rajamouli, who gave him some memorable roles of his career and served as his mentor. His son was born after the movie, Baahubali: The beginning was released, and his role as Inkoshi, King of Kalakeyas in Baahubali was a breakthrough role of his career till then.

Though he was first seen in 2009 film Magadheera, he was first noticed for his second film, Maryada Ramanna directed by Rajamouli. It was followed by small roles in Seema Tapakai, Dookudu, Veera, Lovely, Yamaho Yama, Nippu, Sarocharu etc till Gabbar Singh happened in 2012. This commercial entertainer was directed by Harish Shankar. Once again he struggled to get good roles from Telugu films, till Baahubali happened. There was no turning back after that.
