Pooja Singh is a popular actress associated with Hindi mini screen. She earned attention for the first time playing Emily Mohit Rathi in Star Plus’ Show Diya Aur Baati Hum. She was later seen playing the role of Poonam in Aasman Se Aage, Julie Govardhan Chaturvedi in Aaj Ki Housewife Hai... Sab Jaanti Hai, Suyog Bhanushali from Dil Se Dil Tak and Raavi Balwinder Singh in Shakti — Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki. She currently plays the role of Raavi Balwinder Singh in Colors TV Show Shakti - Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki. She is associated with television industry since 2012 playing supporting roles.

Pooja Singh was born in Jamshedpur district of Jharkhand on 8th January 1990. Her school education was completed from Rabindranath Tagore School. Since those days she was interesting in dancing and acting and actively participated in cultural events. She has been a part of several school dramas too. Known for her social activities, she is associated with Save The Girl Child Campaign and known to be an animal lover too. Before she forayed to small screen, she was a small time model.

As per latest bizz, she was to participate in the latest edition of the controversial reality show, Bigg Boss hosted by megastar Salman Khan. She came to Pune from her hometown, Jamshedpur, after her class tenth for college. Many of her relatives including aunt used to tell her that she is a perfect TV bahu material. She used to shuttle between Mumbai and Pune, giving auditions. Several times she got shortlisted, signed contracts and then being dropped. Her first break came through the show called Aasman Se Aage, in which she played Apoorva Agnihotri’s (male lead) younger sister. It was followed by a couple of shows before finally taking up Diya Aur Baati Hum. She also shot one special episode with Shah Rukh Khan for the show.
