Pooja Bose Biography

Pooja Bose is a successful television actress and Bengali film actress. The role of Radha in Kahaani Hamaaray Mahaabhaarat Ki, Vrinda in the Tujh Sang Preet Lagai Sajna and Goddess Adi-Shakti and Goddess Kali in Devon Ke Dev – Mahadev are her noted roles. Now she is one among the most successful small screen actresses. As a film actress, she has appeared in Bengali, Telugu and Hindi movies and she works predominantly in Bengal film industry. She appeared in Bollywood movie, Rajdhani Express in 2013 in which lead role was played by Leander Paes. She made Bengali debut film opposite Hiran Chatterjee in the movie Macho Mustanaa in the year 2012. Loveria, Rocky and Macho Mustanaa are other Bengali movies in which she played lead role.

She belongs to Jaipur of Rajasthan and was born in 6 February 1987. She did her schooling at the St. Paul’s Mission School and graduated from the Scottish Church College in Kolkata. It was her dream to become an actress. She debut her television career with Kahaani Hamaaray Mahaabhaarat Ki aired on 9X in 2008. It was followed by Tujh Sang Preet Lagai Sajna the same year where she was paired aside Kunal Verma and Sandeep Baswana. The show was aired on Star Plus during the period 2008-2010.

In 2010 she was paired opposite Chaitanya Choudhury in Sarvggun Sampanna in NDTV Imagine. She played the role of Swara. In 2013, she replaced the lead role of Sonarika Bhadoria in Devon Ke Dev – Mahadev, which is her most successful television show up to date. In 2013, Pooja Bose was featured in actor Govinda's music album "Gori Tere Naina". She has also acted in a Telugu film titled Veedu Theda.
