Piyush Chawla Biography 
Piyush Chawla is an Indian cricketer. His Hometown is Moradabad in Uttar Pradesh. He is an all-rounder; a leg-spinner and an attacking batsman. Piyush plays for National cricket as well as domestic cricket. He has played for the India U-19 team and the Central Zone. He plays in the IPL for the Kings XI Punjab team since the last 4 seasons. He first played for India U-19 against the England U-19 team in 2004-05. He got 13 test wickets at a bowling average of just above 12. He has also played in the 2005-06 home series against Australia U-19.
In the 2005-06 Challenger Trophy, Chawla was selected to play for India B. he did a better performance in this series. Yet it was wicket of Sachin Tendulkar he took bowling a googly that became the most memorable moment for him. This effort was described by Cricinfo as "impressive". He also dismissed Yuvraj Singh and Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Two weeks later, he made his first class debut for Central Zone against South Zone in the Duleep Trophy. He scored 60 in a 92-run eighth-wicket stand with Harvinder Singh. His bowling figures - 27.2-3-100-6 was also an excellent effort. He took 4 wickets in 8 overs conceding only 8 runs in the U-19 World Cup final of 2006, another memorable match of his U-19 career.
His outstanding performance in U-19 World Cup final gave him ticket to Indian National team. He was selected in Indian Test Squad for the 1st Test against England in Nagpur, in March 2006, and was selected for his debut in the 2nd Test against England in Mohali. Thus he became the youngest Test debutant for India after Sachin Tendulkar. He got the wicket of Andrew Flintoff as his first International wicket. Piyush played his first ODI on 12 May 2007, against Bangladesh and took 3 wickets as well. This made his successful entry to ODI.
