Pawan Kalyan Biography 
Pawan Kalyan is an Indian film actor and a director who has also worked as the screenwriter, playback singer and choreographer. He belongs to a family with filmy background and the actors Nagendra Babu and Chiranjeevi are his brothers.
Pawan Kalyan was born on 2nd September 1971 in Bapatla in Andhra Pradesh. His mother’s name is Konidala Venkata Rao and his mother’s name is Anjana Devi. His first marriage was with Nandini and that was a love marriage and then divorced her and married Renu Desai on 28th January 2009 who worked with her in the films Badri and Johnny. He has two children son named Akira Nandan and the daughter named Aadhya. The relationship with Renu Desai is also strained. The film producer Allu Arvind is his brother-in-law.
He has good training in martial art and has a black belt in Karate. His original name was Kalyan Babu and he was given the title of Pawan meaning Hanuman and so he came to be known as Pawan Kalyan. He is a pure vegetarian and is influenced by the philosophies of Jiddu Krishnamoorthy and Swami Vivekananda.
His debut movie in Telugu was Akkada Ammayi Ikkada Abbayi. This movie was a megahit and crossed 100 days. It gave him a good opening in Telugu film industry. He then got chances to act in many movies and then took a two years gap after release of his film Kushi and went to Japan to learn martial art known as Aikido. His first directorial debut was Johnny which was released on 26th April 2003 and was a bomber of the year.
He has been considered as a Youth Icon that his fans affectionately started calling him Power Star. He is very popular in Orkut social networking website that his community ranks second next only to India community.
Some of the films that he has acted include Gokulamlo Seetha, Suswgatham, Tholi Prema, Badri, Kushi, Johnny, Shankar Dada MBBS, Gudumba Shankar, Bangaram, Annavaram, Puli, Theenmaar, Panjaa, etc.
