Pavitra Punia Biography

Pavitra Punia is a young television actress and model. She is best known for the role as female protagonist in Star Plus serial Love u Zindagi in 2011. She played parallel lead Anushka in 2012-2013 series, Honge Judaa Naa Hum of Sony television. She also appeared in Imagine TV’s Sawaare Sabke Sapne Preeto portraying the role of Simran (Simi). She has also participated in television reality shows, MTV Splits villa in 2008 and Welcome - Baazi Mehmaan-Nawaazi ki in 2013.

Her family belongs to Baghpath, Uttar Pradesh and she was born and brought up in Delhi. She was born on August 22, 1986. Her real name is Neha Singh. She wanted to become an IPS officer. Her appearance on television changed everything. She appeared on small screen for the first time in 2008 series of MTV Splits Villa. She was working as cabin crew on Kingfisher Airlines when she auditioned for MTV Splits villa 3. She came to limelight for the first time through this show. She was queen for episodes 5, 6 and 10 and finished as one among the three finalists of the show.

Love U Zindagi on STAR Plus was her big break to small screen where she was offered the lead role, Geet opposite Siddharth Shukla. This series was a prequel to Imtiaz Ali's blockbuster film Jab We Met. But this sweet and bubbly role was just opposite her acts and glamour doll looks in the show MTV Splits Villa. It was a complete transition from her previous image. She was earlier known for her bitchiness on the reality show.
