Parvathy Ratheesh Biography

Parvathy Ratheesh is an upcoming actress of Malayalam film industry who came to limelight with her debut flick - Madhura Naranga opposite Kunchacko Boban, where she played the lead role of a Sri Lankan girl. The movie also starred Biju Menon, Neeraj Madhav and Ganja Karuppu in lead roles. The movie was a commercial hit. Parvathy is the daughter of noted actor of yesterdays – Ratheesh, who played numerous hero roles in the 1980s. A meaty role in the debut flick, Parvathy received rave reviews for her acing performance and the movie too fared well at box office. The movie was directed by Sugeeth, who is known for his hit association with Kunchako Boban earlier.

 

Parvathy was born to actor Ratheesh and Diana in the year 1987. She has three siblings. Her younger brother Padmaraj Ratheesh is also an upcoming film actor of Malayalam cinema. Acting was never into the dreams of Parvathy. Parvathy was never craze about films since childhood and hasn’t watched much movies. She was actually clueless of the depth of the art of cinema. She developed a passion towards acting only after the completion of school education. But her mother prompted her to complete studies first and she forgot her dreams somewhere.

 

She completed MBA and took a business job at an MNC at Bangalore. She along with her brother had to shift to Thiruvananthapuram, after their mother diagnosed with cancer. This stay in the capital city brought several bondings and relationships back, mostly related to Ratheesh’s friends of film field. Actor Suresh Gopi and producer Suesrh kumar were among those. Very soon Padmaraj got debut to films and she happened to producer Anto Joseph by chance. That’s how she made her entry to films.
