Parichay (singer) Biography

Parichay is an Indo-Canadian singer, associated with independent music. He has been featured in a few Bollywood songs in the recent times too. He is mostly associated with recreated versions of old Hindi songs. Chandni O Meri Chandni (2012 Version) from Chaar Din Ki Chandni and a remix of Yamla Pagla Deewana are a couple of his popular songs where he appeared as a playback singer. As a composer he is best known for Loveshhuda (2016) where he composed 4 out of 5 songs. He also rendered his voice for "Dono Ke Dono" song from the same album. His 2017 single titled 'Habitaan Vigaad Di' and 2018 single titled 'Saare Mundeya Nu' are his popular songs in independent music.

Parichay was born in Mumbai. He was born on 22 August. He is a singer, composer and music producer. His released private albums are All New Everything, 4 Steps Forward and No Boundaries, and one Bollywood album – Loveshhuda. He released his first album - No Boundaries in 2009. He is a performer on stage, who has performed aside Bollywood artists like Ranbir Kanpoor, Shankar Mahadevan, Bipasha Basu, and Lisa Ray. He made history as the first non-resident Indian artist to have four out of five songs featured in a mainstream Bollywood film, Loveshhuda. The movie also marked his debut in Bollywood as a composer. Earlier he has sung a couple of revived Bollywood hits for new films.

He sang Chandni O Meri Chandni from Chaar Din Ki Chandni as a duet aside Sunidhi Chauhan. It was his first association with Bollywood. His single ‘Habitaan Vigaad Di’ featuring Nargis Fakhri and Kardinal Offishall was a huge hit with over 1.6 million views on YouTube. Nargis Fakhri rendered her voice for this track as well.
