Novoneel Chakraborty is an Indian author who writes in English. He is a writer of fiction, who hails from Silchar, Assam, best known for romantic thrillers, with glimpses of philosophy. His first book "A Thing beyond forever" released in 2008 was a bestseller. "That kiss in the rain", "How about a sin tonight?", “Ex”, and the trilogy series, "The Stranger Trilogy” consisting of - "Marry Me, Stranger" and "All Yours, Stranger" and "Forget me not, Stranger" are among his noted works. His ‘Stranger’ trilogy is all set for release in 6 different languages. "Black Suits You", "Forever Is A Lie" and "Forever Is True" are his next published books. He also writes short stories and TV scripts for serials.

Novoneel Chakraborty was born in Silchar, Assam. Due to the nature of his father’s job, his younger days were spent in three different states of India - Assam, West Bengal and Uttar Pradesh. A major part of his childhood days were spent in Lucknow, where he did his schooling, and his days in this city have influenced his life a lot. His grandfather used to write plays, and watching him since young, Novoneel got attached to writings.

Currently he is a full-fledged writer with first book released in 2008. In the past 10 years he has published 10 novels, one short story and numerous television scripts. He authored his first novel - "A Thing beyond forever which was a best seller of 2008. His first story collection was published in 2018 and it was titled, "Cheaters." His most recent work - "The Best Couple Ever" is slated to release in October 2018 this year.
