Nivedita Tiwari Biography

Nivedita Tiwari is a popular television actress, known for portraying the role as Runjhun in Zee TV's Bhagonwali-Baante Apni Taqdeer. She is currently portraying the role of the female protagonist, Devyani in Phir Jeene Ki Tamanna Hai. She is married to Ankur Pegu, an IITan and co-founder and owner of Swasth India- a foundation that takes care of people’s health. They met for the first time through a common friend, fell in love and got married in 2012.

Nivedita was born and raised in Faizabad, UP. She holds a graduation in English literature. Though she was shortlisted for the lead actress for the popular serial, Balika Vadhu, she couldn’t win it. But later she got the opportunity to play protagonist’s role for Bhagonwali-Baante Apni Taqdeer (2010-2012), through which she became popular. She portrayed the role of Runjhun Mishra. She was frequently invited to many other shows as guest, while she was a part of Bhagonwali-Baante Apni Taqdeer. She has also delivered her dance performances for a few episodes for television shows. She has also appeared in many special episodes of television programs and acted in an episode of Yeh Hai Aashiqui alongside Raj Singh Arora and Pallavi Gupta. Currently she is busy playing the lead role of Phir Jeene Ki Tamanna Hai on Sahara One.

In 2011, she made her Bollywood debut through Khap, where she played the role of Surli, who became a victim of honour killing. She got opportunity to work with veterans like Om Puri and Govind Namdeo through this movie. Apart from movies and television serials, she has also appeared in a few television ads.
