Nishtha Dudeja Biography

Nishtha Dudeja is an Indian model from Haryana. She became the first Indian girl to win Miss Deaf Asia Crown in 2018, when she won the prestigious title of Miss Deaf Asia at the 18th edition of Miss and Mister Deaf World - Europe - Asia Beauty Pageant 2018 held at Prague. She also won Miss Deaf India crown this year, which helped her to represent India at the international event. In 2013 she participated in Deaflympics, World Deaf Tennis Championship 2015 and Deaflympics 2017. Her diva had a tough competition from her co-competitors from China, Thailand, Taiwan, Israel, Czech Republic, Belarus, Mexico and South Africa, and won it finally for India.

Nishtha Dudeja was born in Delhi, and she is of Haryana origin. Nishtha was a bright student since her school days. She was always into extracurricular activities since her childhood days. At the age of 7, she started learning Judo and also participated in various national and international events and won medals. She completed her graduation from Venkateswara College, Delhi University and is presently pursuing MA in Economics from Mithibai College, University of Mumbai. She also won the Best Hair Style Awards during the contest, and enthralled the crowds with her bhangra performance.

Nishtha's father is a Chief Engineer who worked in Northern Railways. She credits her mother for her success. Her mother, Punam Dudeja, is a homemaker. They had been heartbroken when they heard their daughter couldn’t be able to hear lifelong. Nishitha always believes that if given equal opportunities, differently-abled people can also contribute towards the progress of society and she wants to focus on their upliftment in future.

She is also an accomplished tennis player who has won many international tournaments. She is also the brand ambassador for Sivantos India Pvt Ltd, the world’s leading brand of hearing aids, having about a 25 percent market share globally.
