Nirbhay Wadhwa Biography

Nirbhay Wadhwa is a popular television actor known for playing mythological roles on mini screen. Noticed first for playing the negative role of Dushasana in the mythological drama Mahabharata aired on Star Plus, he currently plays the lead role of Hanuman in the TV series Mahabali Hanuman. He has earlier received overwhelming response for his role as Dushasana despite being a negative role and he has also portrayed the role of Hakim Khan Sur in Sony TV's historical drama Bharat Ka Veer Putra – Maharana Pratap. He also played a cameo role of a struggling actor cum Salman Khan’s fan in 2014 Bollywood film Main Aur Mr. Riight.

This popular television actor belongs to Jaipur, Rajasthan. He studied at Saint Edmund's School and his family continues to live in Jaipur. Nirbhay is a fitness freak and a martial arts expert too. The actor follows a strict diet though he misses homely food during his shooting days. The actor is also a staunch Hanuman bhakt, who got the fortune to play the protagonist in the popular TV series Mahabali Hanuman, despite played the negative role of Dushasana in Mahabharata earlier. It’s not quite easy to portray the role of Hanuman. He needs to reach the sets four hours before shooting and has to wear a mask over his face. Once the makeup is complete, he can’t speak till the shooting is over.

He trained in horse riding and weapons to prepare himself for the role of Dushasana in Mahabharata. Acting classes were also given by Roshan Taleja. Since the show became popular he got recognized by people easily.  For his historical character of Hakim Khan Suri in the series - Bharat Ka Veer Putra Maharana Pratap, he took Urdu classes for perfect diction and pronunciation.
