Ninad Kamat Biography

Ninad Kamat is a Bollywood film actor, best known for playing supporting roles. He is also a dubbing artist, mostly associated with ads and jingles. He has also hosted shows, and known as an entertainer and comedian. As a film actor, he has been regular in several Sanjay Dutt films in Bollywood, most notably Lage Raho Munnabhai, Parineeta etc. His other noted character roles include – Air Lift, Zabardast, Kabhi Up Kabhi Down, Shiva, 7½ Phere, Viruddh, Dus, Zeher, Sangharsh, Doli Sajake Rakhna and Jai Gangaajal. He has also done playback singing for a couple of Hindi movies.

Ninad Kamat is a Maharashtrian, and he hails from Mumbai. He celebrates his birthday on 19 August. He is associated with entertainment industry since 1994, in different roles. He has been associated with television shows in the 1990s, and started his career with the movie Doli Saja Ke Rakhna directed by Priyadarshan. As a film actor, his roles in Air Lift, Lage Raho Munnabhai, Parineeta etc earned him recognition. He played the supporting role of Ajit in Parineeta and the role of a lawyer in Lage Raho Munnabhai, both starring Sanjay Dutt in a key role.

In the recent times, he received favourable reviews for his performance in Akshay Kumar starrer Airlift in 2016. He played the role of Malayali Kurien in the movie, based on real-life incidents. His role as James in Zeher was also well-noticed. He is a leading dubbing artist who has dubbed for Amitabh Bachchan, Sachin Tendulkar, Will Smith, Jim Carrey etc. He has also dubbed for many Hollywood films to Hindi. He sang the title and remixed version of the same title song of the movie, Darna Mana Hai.
