Nila Biography

Nila is an Indian film actress who concentrates in Tamil and Telugu film industry. Her charming looks and skills in acting attract people. Her pretty face and bewitching smile are other added advantage.

She was born in New Delhi and her original name was Meera Chopra. Nila is her screen name in Tamil. Her birthday falls on 8th July. Her father’s name is Sudesh Chopra and her mother’s name is Neelam Chopra. She has one brother named Vikram Chopra and sister Timsy Chopra. She completed her schooling at Presentation Convent School at Delhi and continued her higher studies at Saginaw Valley State University at Michigan in US where she completed her graduation in Mass Communication.

She started her career at NDTV in New Delhi but she worked there only for few months and had to leave her job as she got chance to act in films. She partnered with Chennai International Fashion Week and was successful in her venture. She is also managing her hotel business based at Delhi.

Nila entered the film industry in lead role through the film Anbe Aaruyire by S.J. Suryah. The film was a huge success and gave her many chances. She also got chances to act in Telugu movies. She has also appeared as model for many commercials including that of Santoor Soap that gave her good exposure.
