Nikita Dutta Biography 
Nikita Dutta is a very popular actress of Hindi soaps, Bollywood actress and a successful model. She is best known for her title role of Lakshmi Mathur in Life Ok's popular daily series Dream Girl-Ek Ladki Deewani Si. The show was premiered on March 9, 2015 and ended on March 4, 2016. She quit the show after her co-star Mohsin Khan died in the show and Arya-Sudeep Sahir track started gaining prominence. Yet Nikita became quite popular with her debut series.
Currently she plays the female protagonist in Sony Television’s newly started series - Ek Duje Ke Vaaste, premiered on February 2016. Namik Paul plays the male lead in this show. She was a finalist of Miss India 2012 beauty pageant and was also seen in Bollywood film - "Lekar Hum Deewana Dil", before her television debut.
Nikita was born and brought up in Delhi. Later she moved to Mumbai along with her parents. She studied at St. Xavier's College, Mumbai. By that time she started modelling. She was one of the finalists of 'The Pantaloons Femina Miss India 2012', which was a turning point of her career. She takes extra care on her fitness and practices the mix of power yoga, cardio exercises and meditation to stay fit. After her achievement in Miss India, she got an offer from ZOOM TV. She became an anchor for the television channel.
Later she worked as an anchor for Star Sports for the Cricket world cup - 2014. Very soon she bagged her first Bollywood film- Lekar Hum Deewana Dil produced by Saif Ali Khan. She was seen in a supporting role in the film. Though she handled various roles as a model, TV anchor and film actress, she gained recognition through the couple of television shows she did as female protagonist. Dancing, Travelling and Solving Japanese logic puzzles are her favourite puzzles. Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone are her favorite Bollywood actors.
