Nia Sharma is a very popular television actress of Hindi soaps. She is best known for playing the second lead, Manvi Virat Singh Vadhera in the popular series - Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai during 2011-2013. Currently she is playing the female lead in soap opera Jamai Raja as Roshni since 2014. Behenein and Kaali - Ek Agnipariksha are other noted appearances. She made a guest appearance in one episode of Kumkum Bhagya in 2015. Sharma was ranked No. 5 in the Top 50 Sexiest Asian Women List by Eastern Eye in 2013.

Neha Sharma was born on 17 September 1991 in Delhi. Sharma began her television career on the serial Kaali- Ek Agnipariksha. The serial was aired during 2010-2011. Very soon she got her second television offer – Behnein, the series aired during the same period. She played the role of Nisha in this series. Her real breakthrough happened in the year 2013 when she was offered the pivot role of Manvi Virat Singh Vadhera in - Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai. She shot to fame after this series and a familiar face among television viewers. She played a cancer patient in a bald role for the series. It’s for the first time in Hindi television an actress appears bald for an onscreen role.

She plays the title role in Jamai Raja, the series produced by film star Akshay Kumar. A successful show on television, it has completed more than 200 episodes. It is one of those rare serials on Indian television nominated by female-oriented serials, which gives some kind of preferences to leading male actor, breaking the convention.
