Neelu Vaghela Biography

Neelu Vaghela was born on 15 April 1970 in Rajasthan. She as a popular cine actress, dancer and TV presenter having contributed for  Rajasthani cinema and is considered a top star in Rajasthani movies. Currently Neelu is in the news for her role of Bhabho in Diya Aur Baati Hum.

She is married to Arvind Kumar and the pair has two children, a son and a daughter. Incidentally Neelu Vaghela owns her own production house ‘Aruneel Films’ which makes films in Rajasthani language. She has acted in five Gujarati films and more than fifty Rajasthani movies.

It would be appropriate to mention that Neelu and her husband Arvind Vaghela have worked together in a Rajasthani movie "Raju Rathore" which was shot in the back ground of a village where husband Arvind played the role of a police officer who brought peace and Neelu as a social worker. Raju Rathore was an action-comedy film which did well on the box office. 

Neelu has worked in many Rajasthani movies including, Ramgarh Ri Ramli, Ramkudi Ghamkudi, Jai Karni Mata, Supattar Binani, Naini Bai Ro Mayro, Derani Jethani, Nanad Bhojai, Baisa Ra Jatan Karo and Bai Chali Sasariye to name a few. She has worked in Diya Aur Baati Hum and Nach Baliye 5  with her husband Arvind Kumar and also hosted a show 'Meri Maa'. At present Neelu is busy playing the roles Bhabo in the serial Diya Aur Baati Hum on Star Plus channel.

Neelu Vaghela has been awarded for contribution in Rajasthani Films and for her efforts and contribution in the industry in the cultural field as "Woman of the Future 2014-2015". She has now been top Rajasthani actress for years and has been credited for her contribution in a book released by Rajasthini government which includes prominent ladies of Rajasthan including Neelu Vaghela and Pritibha Patil the former President of India.

Neelu Vaghelas famous movies include, Ramgarh Ri Ramli, Jai Karni Mata, Naini Bai Ro Mayro, Lancha Gujri, Derani Jethani, Ramkudi Ghamkudi,Baisa Ra Jatan Karo, Dadosari Laadli, Veer Tejaji and Bai Chali Sasariye which was later made in Hindi with title 'Saajan Ka Ghar' with Juhi Chawla.
