Naveen Kasturia Biography

Naveen Kasturia is a Bollywood actor known for his appearance in critically acclaimed movies and also television series. His work in TVF drama series – Pitchers earned him recognition. He gained attention playing lead role in 2013 critically acclaimed film, Sulemani Keeda directed by Amit V Masurkar and produced by Tulsea Pictures. The movie was screened at Mumbai Film festival 2013. He also played brief roles in many Bollywood movies, and worked as assistant director to Dibakar Banerjee in Shanghai and many more works. Waah Zindagi – a comedy flick is his upcoming release, where he plays lead role opposite Plabita Borthakur of Lipstick Under My Burkha fame. He appeared in a cameo in a Yash Raj production, Man’s World.

Naveen completed his studies from Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology, University of Delhi. He started his career working as an assistant director in the film Jashnn in 2009, working with Raksha Mistry & Hasnain S Hyderabadwala. He later worked as an assistant director for movies such as Shanghai, Tigers, Love Sex Aur Dhokha etc, and also appeared in a brief role in Shanghai. He marked his acting debut through the web series, TVF Pitchers, in the year 2015. He played the lead role of Naveen Bansal (5 episodes) which earned him praises from all corners.

Till now, he is known for the title role he played in the first few episodes of the series.  The web series which told the story of four start-up aspirants gave him the real break he was waiting for. Later he appeared in web series such as Man's World, and most recently Bose: Dead/Alive in 2017. He also appeared in short films, Half Ticket, Interior Cafe Night, Pure Veg etc. He also played Gaurav's childhood friend Kunal in 2016 Bollywood release, Loveshhuda.
