Naveen Chandra Biography

Naveen Chandra Reddy is a south Indian film actor associated with Telugu and Tamil cinema. He made his film debut through Tamil movie, Agarathi as lead hero though it was not received well. He made his Telugu debut through the movie - Andala Rakshasi in 2012, alongside two comers of the industry - Rahul Ravindran and Lavanya Tripathi. He played parallel lead in this love triangle whose story is set during the days of 1991. The movie also received a nomination at SIIMA Award for Best Male Debutant. Later he moved towards Tamil movies where he got offers of male lead.

Naveen belongs to Bellary, Karnataka. His father R.Govindaraj was a head mechanic in KSRTC Bellary Depot. He was passion about movies since his childhood and a big fan of Chiranjeevi and Prabhudeva. He was encouraged by his close friend and he reached Hyderabad seeking opportunities in movies. Chandra made his debut as hero in Agarathi, aside Archana though it went unnoticed. The movie was based on the novel "Iravil Oru Vaanavil" by Rajesh Kumar. With his second movie, he marked his successful Telugu debut. Andala Rakshasi in 2012 earned him appreciation as a romantic hero and passionate lover in Telugu and he got film offers from both Telugu and Tamil movies.

In 2013 his third movie was released. It was a bilingual titled Dalam in Telugu and Koottam in Tamil, where he played the role of a reformed naxalite which received critics’ appreciation. Tamil version was released only in 2014. Piaa Bajpai played lead role aside him. Naa Rakumarudu was his first Telugu released in 2014. Brahman was his second Tamil release, which got released in 2014. Therodum Veedhiyile, Sarabham and Sivappu are his upcoming Tamil movies. Juliet - Love of Idiot is his upcoming Telugu release.
