Natania Lalwani Biography 
Natania Lalwani is an Indian pop singer and songwriter based in Los Angeles. She was born in Mumbai. As a singer she shot to fame with her single "Cherry Love” in 2014, which won her many international musical awards, including three category awards at Radio City Freedom Awards. Till now she has collaborated with artists like Neon Hitch, The Voice's Caroline Pennell, Humble the poet, Tim Mitchell, Leslie Grace, Stolar etc. She was nominated for a Global Indian Music Academy Award in 2015 for "Best Independent Song". She was the winner of MTV'S Project Aloft Star India – Season 1.
Natania Ravi Lalwani was born on October 29, 1992 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. She grew up in Mumbai and studied at the elite Cathedral and John Connon School. She graduated from Jai Hind College, Mumbai. Since her academic years she has been a member of musical bands, music choirs etc. She was a member of the prestigious The Stop Gaps Choral Ensemble choir in India. For advanced studies in music she moved to Boston. She also studied at Los Angeles, before she started her professional career as a singer.
During her academic years in 2012, Lalwani wrote and performed all songs of her debut EP, Hope and Heartbreak. She released the single Cherry Love which went viral over net. She has worked with labels like Warner Bros, and wrote at the legendary Capitol Studios with her partner Asha Madhukar. The duo is referred to as ‘Hits and Giggles’. Her songs and music have been featured in shows like The X Factor and Late Night With Seth Meyers. Following the success of Cherry Love and Box You Up in 2015, she released her third single, Prisoner.
