Nandini Rai Biography

Nandini Rai is a noted model and actress from Secunderabad, Andhra Pradesh. She made her film debut through the 2011 Bollywood film Family Pack. Login - the suspense thriller released in 2012 was her second flick where she appeared in a supporting role. She has also acted in two Telugu movies – 040 and Hormones and one Malayalam flick - Goodbye December, where she acted aside former Miss Universe India 2010, Ushoshi Sengupta and heartthrob Asif Ali. She is to make her Kannada debut through 2014 movie, Kushi Kushiyalli.

She was born in a Sindhi family in Andhra Pradesh. She was formerly known as Neelam Khourani. During her childhood days she was a foodie and chubby too. She played the role of late actress Soundarya's daughter in one movie and it was during this moment when she decided to become an actress. After that she controlled her food and favourite dishes a lot to look slim and fit for movies. She took two years of rigorous dieting, and very soon she turned a model. She endorsed for more than 80 Indian and international products. She appeared in a few television ads and also won a few beauty contests. Miss Hyderabad 2009, Miss Andhra Pradesh 2010, Miss Pantaloons Fresh Face of AP 2011 and Miss Beautiful Eyes of AP 2012 are the beauty contests won by her. She holds a graduation in Computer science.

She made her film debut through 2011 Bollywood film ‘Family Pack’, though it went unnoticed. After ‘Login’ (2012) she moved to south. For 2012 Telugu movie, Hormones she increased 12 kilos to play a journalist’s role. She played the role of a naughty teacher in her Malayalam debut, Goodbye December.
