Namrata Gaikwad Biography

Namrata Gaikwad is a beautiful actress associated with Marathi entertainment industry. She is a theatre artist, who acts in movies and television shows too. She has done a Diploma in anchoring and is a trained Bharatnatyam dancer. Associated with movies since 2011, she has acted in the films - Campus Katta (2014), Vanshwel (2013), Saubhagya Maza Daiwat (2012), Vijay Aso (2012), Langar ek paash,   Swarajya – marathi paule padate pudh (2011) etc. She has been the part of several Marathi plays such as Dnyanoba Majha, Mi Kumari Aruna, Sanyasta Jwalamukhi etc.

She is a popular Marathi actress born and brought up in Kalyan, Mumbai. She was born on 8th March 1989 - a ‘Women’s day’. To make this day special, every year she celebrates her birthday with some social organizations. Most recently she was invited by jail authorities at Nasik Central Jail on the occasion of Women’s day and a special program was arranged for lady prisoners. She spent some time with the prisoners and encouraged them also. She is a part of celebrity Cricket league, and a member of Aurangabad team. She has played in Marathi Box Cricket League at Lavasa.

A trained Bharatnatyam dancer, she took a Diploma in anchoring course in Marathi language. Swarajya – marathi paule padate pudh in 2011 marked her big screen debut. She acted in successful Marathi movies such as Campus Katta, Vanshwel, Saubhagya Maza Daiwat and Vijay aso. This talented actress was offered a role in Hindi soaps, by none other than Ekta Kapoor. But she turned down the show due to contract issues. She has acted in the Marathi soap, Mangalsutra - Mi Marathi.
