Namik Paul Biography

Namik Paul is a Hindi television actor and successful model. He is best known for playing the lead role of Shravan Malhotra in the daily soap Ek Duje Ke Vaaste. He along with his co-actress Nikita Dutta received Lions Gold Awards 2017 for Best Jodi – Critics. He also received a nomination for Indian Television Personality 2016. Namik also appeared in the popular TV shows - Qubool Hai, Ek Deewaana Tha, Befikre Belgium Ke etc. Befikre Belgium Ke is a travel show, and he acted in the web series, The Trip. He played male lead in Ek Deewaana Tha, which was aired on Sony Entertainment Television and ended most recently in 2018.

Namik has a macho personality and a height of 6 feet 3 inches to his credit. He remained a very successful model before his foray to television. He is associated with television since 2015, and is fully active with a handful of lead roles to add to his credit. He hails from Dehradun, Uttarakhand. His father is a retired IAS Officer while his mother is a lawyer and human rights activist. His elder sister is a lawyer. He did his schooling from Dehradun, and pursued his higher studies from US.

Since school days, he has been interested in acting and also appeared in many school plays. He continued with plays during his college days too, though there was a break in the newly admitted school before he joined college. He always loved acting and had fun with it. However before starting to act, he did modelling and worked in media for a news channel. But later he realized that modelling was not for him, and he wanted to act. He played a lot of basketball in his teen times and still love to play it.
