Naina Sarwar Biography

Naina Sarwar is a newcomer actress associated with south Indian film industry. She made her debut in the Kannada film Bettanagere (2015), and later did Tamil movies - Adra Machan Visilu (2016) and Kolanji (2017). She works in Tamil and Kannada movies at present. Her second release was Kannada film, Ooty. Ae Raam and Kolara are her upcoming Kannada releases. She plays female lead opposite Srinagar Kitty for Ae Raam, her second project with director Arya Mahesh. It’s quite interesting that, most of the roles she selected up-to-date are based on real life incidents.

Naina Sarwar doesn’t hold any background in acting. It was just destiny and her luck which helped her to bag the first film, Bettanagere released in 2015. An admirer spotted her picture in social media and suggested her name to a filmmaker. She was doing her graduation in commerce while she signed the first film project. She signed her first movie within 24 hours of meeting the movie team, and was totally clueless how she bagged the role. Thus she marked her debut with Bettanagere, a movie based on real time incidents. She shared screen space with Akshay and Sumanth for her debut film, a crime thriller directed by Mohan Gowda. Very soon she grabbed more projects belonging to Kannada and Telugu languages.

‘Kolara’ directed by Arya Mahesh washer second release, where she starred aside actor Yogish. This movie too revolves around the real-life story. ‘Ooty’ directed by Mahesh Kumar was her third release, where she was casted in the lead role opposite to hero Avinash. The actress enjoys doing movies being inspired by real life events and is not a fan of romantic films.
