Murali Kumar Biography

Murali Kumar is a professional bodybuilder from Kerala. Kumar is a sailor in the Indian Navy. He never dreamt to join this profession, and of course made a late entry at the age of 25. But with his gifted genetics, he shot up into the bodybuilding scene. He won Mr. India title twice (in 2013 and 2014) and is currently at the top and the most successful body builder from India. He won Mr. Asia title in 2013 and has trained himself for the last 10 years to remain in the top slot. He displayed an outstanding performance at Asian Bodybuilding Championship held in Vietnam in 2012. He has forged his body into near perfection and is regarded as an icon at present. He was inspired by International Bodybuilding legend, Dorian Yates.

 

Murali Kumar hails from Kottayam, Kerala. He was born on February 10, 1985. Kumar is a software engineer by profession and currently serves in Indian Navy. His entry to bodybuilding was just accidental and even in his weird dreams he has never thought of it. For the same reason he made a late entry to the field, at the age of 25. Once he was injured with a fracture in his legs. When doctors advised Murali to take up some workout routines in gym to strengthen his leg muscles, he started hitting gym. Even after the recovery process, he continued with his daily routine of going to gym.

 

He gradually started to develop keen interest in bodybuilding. He was encouraged by his friends as well, to take it as a serious profession. A gifted person with good physique, structure and broad shoulders, he quickly picked up, and now he is the top bodybuilder of the country. It took 10 long years of hard work to reach the position where he is now, a true inspiration to all fighters.
