Mumtaj Biography 
Mumtaj is an Indian film actress who concentrates in Tamil film industry. She is noted for her performance in glamour roles and was very active in the time period between 2000 and 2007.
Mumtaj was born on 5th July 1980 in Mumbai in Maharashtra. Her birth name was Nagma Khan. Initially she had the screen name of Monisha and later changed it into Mumtaj. She completed her schooling at Mt. Mary’s Convent. Though her mother tongue is Urdu, she knows to speak many languages like Tamil, English, Punjabi, Urdu and Hindi.
She entered film industry through the Tamil film Monisha En Monalisa. She worked as the judge in the first season of the reality dance competition Boys Vs Girls that was hosted in STAR Vijay. She was noted for her performance in the films Kushi, Rajathi Raja and Budget Padmanabhan. She also worked as a judge in the Season 6 Maanada Mayilaada hosted in Kalaignar TV.
She was casted in item number in many films and her sexy looks and exposure of physique in the films won her huge fan base. Some of the films that she has appeared include Malabar Police, Unakkaaga Ellam Unakkaaga, Sonnal Thaan Kathala, Mitta Miraasu, Chocolate, Yeh Teraa Ghar Yeh Meraa Ghar, Azhagana Naatkal, Vivaramaana Aalu, Ezhumalai, Roja Koottam, Thaandavam, Maha Nadigan, Chellame, Devathaiyai Kanden, London, Veerasamy, Rajathi Raja, etc.
