Mohsin Akhtar Mir Biography 
Mohsin Akhtar Mir is a successful model and a small time actor associated with Bollywood. He is a successful businessman at present. On 2nd March 2016 he got married to Bollywood diva Urmila Matondkar in a private ceremony held at the bride’s residence. The low key affair was attended by only close relatives and the only person from entertainment industry present was ace fashion designer Manish Malhotra, with whom both Urmila and Mir has been associated with, several times before. After the intimate ceremony was over, she herself released official pictures of her and Mohsin which came as an extreme shock to her fans. The news went viral over net, as Bollywood diva Preity Zinta too tied knot in a similar manner a couple of days ago! Both these ladies of B’town with age 40+ avoided a grand fat wedding with media coverage.
Mohsin Akhtar Mir is from Kashmir. He belonged to a business family in Kashmir. Yet he dreamt to become an actor. When his parents took decision to get him married at a younger age, he ran away from his house with his brother. He was only 21 then. Started his career in modelling industry, he has worked with many ace fashion designers like Manish Malhotra, Taroon Kumar and Vikram Phadnis. He regularly worked with Manish Malhotra and shared a good relationship with him.
Mohsin has played lead roles in less known flicks such as It’s a Man’s World and Mumbai Mast Kalandar. It’s a Man’s World – was his debut flick. He was paired with Shilpa Shukla for Mumbai Mast Kalandar, where he was one among the male leads. He played the lead role of a male prostitute in Saurabh Sengupta’s It’s a Man’s World. Mouli Ganguly played the female lead. He was also seen in Farhan Akhtar’s Luck By Chance. He was also seen in the Music video of A. R. Rahman’s Taj mahal anthem – Ek Mohabbat. As he couldn’t gain much from films, he turned to modelling. A successful model, he has won runner up title in Mr. India.
On 2nd March 2016, he got married to the Rangeela girl, Urmila Matondkar in a private ceremony held at her Bandra residence in Mumbai. Both were in a relationship, though decision to get married was finalized in a short while ago. He is 10 years younger to her. As Urmila is away from limelight for the last few years, she didn’t invite any celebrity to her marriage except Manish Malhotra, who designed her bridal dress. The two were earlier spotted at Manish’s niece’s marriage.
