Mohan Kapoor Biography

Mohan Kapoor is a noted character artist associated with Hindi television and cinema. He is a successful dubbing artist too. As a voice actor, he dubs many foreign language movies to Hindi. He is fluent in speaking English, Punjabi and Hindi languages. He is the official Hindi voice dubbing artist for American actor Kevin Bacon. Also known as a successful anchor, he anchored the popular television game show, Saanp Seedi. Mohan has dabbled with different types of professions, and he is also known as a makeup artist in the industry.

 

Mohan Kumar was born on 27 October 1965. He started his film career in the mid-1990s, working with many Bollywood movies. He mostly played grey shaded and villain characters, and a few comic roles too. He has experimented with all types of character roles. Some of his noted appearances in the 1990s and later include – Beqabu, Dil Hi Dil Mein, Deewangee, Game, Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi, Bodyguard, Raaz 3, Jolly LLB, Zid, Happy New Year, Hate Story, Bittoo Boss, Bango etc. He was most recently seen in Akshay Kumar starrer Naam Shabana in 2017.

 

Mohan has played noted character and negative roles on small screen too. Hip Hip Hurray is one of his noted television works in the 1990s. Some of his character roles on small screen include - Savitri Devi College & Hospital, Bharat Ka Bhavishya, Sumit Sambhal Lega, Amrit Manthan, Everest, Hip Hip Hurray etc. He has also hosted the countdown show, Philips Top 10 in 1995. As a dubbing artist, he is busy in industry now. He dubbed for John McClane (Bruce Willis) in ‘Die hard 4’ marking his debut as a voice actor. Dubbing director Ellie Louise helped Mohan through the dubbing sessions initially.
