Mithun Manhas Biography 
Mithun Manhas is an Indian cricketer associated with IPL games. Though he owns an excellent career record in domestic cricket, he has never made to National team. Known as an all-rounder of his team, he is a right-handed batsman, who occasionally bowls and often does the role of a wicketkeeper. He is a right-arm off break bowler for his team. He played with Jammu and Kashmir cricket team for the last season of Ranji matches. Currently he plays for Chennai Super Kings for Indian Premier League 2016 and is known as an all-rounder for his team. Earlier he has represented Delhi Daredevils and Pune Warriors.
Mithun Manhas was born on 12 October 1979 in Jammu and Kashmir. He was born into a Buttar Minhas family in Jammu. Made his first class debut in the late 1990s, he played as middle order batsman for team Delhi for many years. He has also served as the captain of Delhi Ranji team. Known to be an outstanding player of Ranji team, he became the fourth batsman to score 8000 runs in the Ranji Trophy. But unfortunately he could never make an entry to National team, when the batting line up was fully dominated by Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, Sourav Ganguly, VVS Laxman etc. He continued with domestic matches and IPL.
He made his first-class debut for Delhi in 1997-98 season and has played with Virender Sehwag, Ashish Nehra and Aakash Chopra. Known to be a run machine of domestic cricket, he scored 921 runs in the 2007-08 season with an average of 57.56. He played 153 first class matches till now accumulating 9640 runs and 40 wickets. Unbeaten 205 is his career best. Yet this humble batsman has no regrets for not playing for national team. He has been associated with IPL matches since its third season.
