Mithoon Biography

Mithoon is a successful music director of Bollywood with Aashique 2 and Murder 2 fame. He has wisely used Arijit Singh’s voice wisely in many of his compositions. Phir mohabbat of Murder 2 and the chartbuster song of the year 2013 – Tum hi ho of Aashique 2 are the best instances. Though he has composed only one song in the movie, it became overnight sensation and became so successful through social networking sites and youtube. It was a huge hit with the song crossing 2,000,000 hits within 2 weeks of its music release. He does playback singing as well. Mithoon is the son of Naresh Sharma who has scored background music for more than 200 movies. Tere Bin Main Yun Kaise Jiya of Bas ek pal is also a blockbuster song of Mithoon as a composer.

 

Mithoon made his singing debut with The Train (2007), though he is primarily a music director. ‘Woh Ajnabee' and ‘Mausam’ songs were successful and both pictured on Emraan Hashmi. As a music director songs of Zeher and Kalyug (2005) were the first noted works. Woh Lamhe Woh Baatein of Zeher and Aadat of Kalyug, both were chartbusters. His next film score Aggar was noted for its fusion of new vocal styles and music.  The song 'Ke Bin Tere' was an instant hit.

His first project as a solo composer was 3G, released in the year 2013 and it was an average hit.
