Merin Joseph Biography 
Merin Joseph is an Indian IPS officer from Kerala. Tagged as the most beautiful IPS officer, she has been in limelight for a while for her looks rather than her administrative role. She gained popularity long before she took charge of any district, and her photos went viral over net. She cracked the civil service examination in the year 2012 and got 188 All India Rank. She hails from Ernakulam. She is the youngest and talented IPS officer, who also made some great achievements in her professional career. Keeping aside all the publicity she completed her training in Ernakulam rural district, Chengammanad station.
Merin Joseph hails from Ernakulam, Kerala. She was brought up in Delhi, where her family has been settled for more than 35 years. Her father is from Ranni, who served as Principae Adviser in the ministry of agriculture. Her mother worked as an economics teacher. She holds BA and MA from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi.
When she cleared civil service exams in 2012, she was the youngest officer of Kerala Cadre. She was only 25 years old then. She cleared the exams in her first attempt. She is married to Dr. Chris Abraham. Now they live at Government guest house, Kochi. She loves reading a lot, and also loves English language. Her facebook page has a lot of followers. To become an IAS officer was her first dream right from the childhood, and IPS was only her second dream.
Her beauty and publicity have always worked in her favour. She always finds an interesting audience, whenever she addresses people. It helps her to propagate her agenda and messages easily among the public. She doesn’t seem to be prototype IPS officer who is rude and harsh, rather she is soft in nature.
