Melissa Pais is a popular television actress associated with Hindi soaps. Her appearance in Comedy Circus, Sajan Re Jhoot Mat Bolo, Pritam Pyare Aur Woh, investigation series – CID and Bhootwala Serial got noticed. The actress known for playing supporting and character roles is currently essaying the role of Baby Dubey in the popular series, Neeli Chatri Waale. As of now she has appeared in over a dozen of TV soaps, and gained recognition as well. She is associated with Hindi television industry since 2004, and has portrayed a wide range of roles on small screen. She has done brief roles in a few Bollywood films too.

Melissa Pais hails from Goa. She was born on 11 August 1983. She started her television journey in 2004 at the age of 21, when she became a part of the show Karma. She played the supporting role of Kaira in the show, aired on STAR Plus for a few months. The show was pulled off the air for low TRP ratings. Then she was seen in the show, Main Banungi Miss India. The show was a success, and she played the role of Kamya in the show. Since then she got opportunity to play roles in many soap dramas of Hindi television industry. She was also seen in brief roles in Bollywood films such as Khichdi (2002), Masti (2004) etc.

Some of the roles she played later include – Parrivaar, Ardhangini, Pritam Pyare Aur Woh, Chidiya Ghar,  Aadat Se Majboor, Khichdi, Golmaal Hai Bhai Sab Golmaal Hai, Har Shaakh Pe Ullu Baithaa Hai, Miley Jab Hum Tum, and Sajan Re Jhoot Mat Bolo (2009). She belongs to a Christian family in Goa. She completed her schooling from Mumbai. Dancing and reading are her personal hobbies.
