Meghna Mishra Biography 
Meghna Mishra is the latest sensation in Bollywood music. She made her Bollywood singing debut in the year 2017 with the song, “Main Kaun Hoon” from the movie Secret Superstar starring Aamir Khan and Zaira Wasim. In fact she rendered her voice for all songs featuring the lead actress Zaira who plays the role of an aspiring teenage singer in the film, and the whole story revolves around her success journey to become famous. She has earlier made her playback singing in Marathi cinema in 2014. Yet songs of Secret Superstar made her popular.
Mishra originally hails from Ghazipur in Uttar Pradesh. But she was born and raised in Mumbai. She was born into a musical family. Her father Sanjay Kumar Mishra is a Hindustani classical music teacher and a singer and mother, a tabla artist and kathak dancer. Brought up in a musical environment since her childhood, she took vocal lessons of music from her father. She is an ardent fan of old Bollywood songs and considers Lata Mangeshkar a major influence. Prior to her entry to playback singing, she has tried her luck in one reality talent hunt show and got rejected.
She had sung two songs in the 2014 Marathi film Vitti Dandu, marking her singing debut. She made her Bollywood singing debut at the age of 15 through “Main Kaun Hoon”. The movie got released when she turned 1 year older. Out of the 8 tracks composed by Amit Trivedi, Meghna sang four of them - Main Kaun Hoon, Sapna Re, Meri Pyaari Ammi and O Re Manwa. It was not easy for her to get the sensational debut in Bollywood. She beat 28 other singers in audition to mark her debut.
