Mazher Sayed Biography

Mazher Sayed is an Indian television actor who works in Hindi television shows. He started his theater career at an early age. Sayed started his career with the popular show Kaahin Kissii Roz in 2001, and is fully active in the television industry for last 18 years, playing a dozen of roles of mini screen. He was most recently seen in Sasural Simar Ka in the character role of Prem Rajendra Bharadwaj. The show had a long run of almost 8 years. Saat Phere, Mrs. Pammi Pyarelal, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Naagin and Devanshi are a few more character roles on small screen. He is married to his co-star, Mouli Ganguly, a very popular television actress.

Mazher Sayed was born on 5 March 1980 in Mumbai. He studied at Jamnabai Narsee School and higher education at Mithibai College. He started his television career through a supporting role in Kaahin Kissii Roz in 2001. Mazher has strong theater background and owns experience of working with some of the leading names of theater world such as Salim Ghouse, Kader Khan, and Atul Kumar. He started working in theatre at a younger age. He has also done shows with veteran film actress Hema malini, and some of the shows include Kuch Jhuki Palkien, and Kamini Damini.

Saat Phere, Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki, Mrs. Pammi Pyarelal, Rakt Sambandh and Chajje Chajje Ka Pyaar are some of his popular shows on small screen, and he mostly plays supporting roles and character roles. He did episodes for Saavdhaan India and Crime Patrol, and also contested in celebrity dance reality show - Nach Baliye season 4 aside his wife, Mouli Ganguly, a very popular television actress. He has also featured in many ads.
