Manjul Bhardwaj Biography 
Manjul Bhardwaj is a noted theater personality belonging to Marathi Theater. He is a well-established playwright, actor and play writer who regularly conducts theatre workshops. In a career spanning to more than 25 years, he has written and directed more than 25 plays. He is popular with the theater workshop - "The Theatre of Relevance", which trains stage artists. Komal Khamkar is one among those leading names of Marathi Theater and television who has been the part of "The Theatre of Relevance", which gives the basement to acting. He founded The Experimental Theatre Foundation in 1992 and has conducted more than 300 "Theatre of Relevance" workshops for different organizations and institutions.
He is a native of Dhakhora, belonging to Rewari of Haryana state. In the early 1990s he was associated with street plays, at a time when Mumbai riots were going on, with deep violence and great risks on street play acts. Yet he performed with a group of artists at an area near to Behrampada. The actor feels that the best compliment he received on his performance on street play was when a drunkard offered him a 10-rupee note and asked him to stop beating a child, while he was performing a street play on child labour.
His first tryst with theater happened during his college days as an undergraduate. He volunteered at a school for underprivileged children and trained kids for a school play. That was his first experience with theater. Known for staging plays of socially relevant subjects, child labour, women harassment, HIV & AIDS affected People, female foeticide etc have been his common subjects. Vishwa – The World – is one of his most successful plays that has been performed in several countries. Staged his first play - Door Se Kisi Ne Aawaj Di in 1993, "Aao Khele Natak" is his latest workshop conducted.
