Manini Mishra Biography

Manini Mishra is a successful television actress who has appeared in a few films as well. She rose to stardom by playing the role of Pari Kapadia in Sony televsion’s most popular soap opera, Jassi jaisa koi nahin. She is also well known for her role as Dr Sonali Barwe in Sony’s detective series - C.I.D. She is married to television actor, Mihir Mishra of Sanjivani fame. She is a supporting actress of Hindi cinema. Among all roles, her role as Priyanka Chopra’s friend in Krishh is remembered most.

She appeared in Indian television during middle 1990’s with the serial - Amma and Family. Manini Mishra was first recognized for playing Pari Kapadia in Jassi jaisa koi nahin. Her appearance as the best friend of Mallika, negative shaded role was appreciated by critics as well as viewers. This role still remains her critical and commercial biggest success. TV series Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyaan was her second noted work, where she appeared as Aunt Chanchal. She participated in the reality show Nach Baliye as contestant with her husband. But she couldn’t reach the top. In 2005, she had a part in the ‘The Great Indian Comedy Show’ of STAR One and was successful.

She occasionally acts in movies as well. Apart from Krish, she has also appeared in Fashion, 7 1/2 Phere: More Than a Wedding, Rules: Pyaar Ka Superhit Formula, Ashok Chakra: Tribute to Real Heroes, Student of the year and Waisa Bhi Hota Hai Part II. Her television shows and serials include - Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyann, Kya Mast Hai Life, Sarkar- Risshton Ki Ankahi Kahani, Jeete Hain Iske Liye, Madhubala - Ek Ishq Ek Junoon, Devon Ke Dev – Mahadev, Kesariya Balam Aavo Hamare Des, Remix, Twinkle Beauty Parlour Lajpat Nagar, Adaalat and Ek Nayi Chhoti Si Zindagi.
