Mandira Bedi Biography 
Mandira Bedi is an Indian actress, model and television anchor. She played the title role in the 1994 television serial Shanti in the national channel Doordarshan. She appeared in many television serials such as Aurat, Dushman and Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Thi. She took part in the hosting of ICC Cricket World Cup in 2003, 2007 and the Champions Trophies in 2004 and 2006 and the IPL season 2 for Sony Max. She worked with the British Network ITV during the IPL season 3.
She was born on 15th April 1972 in Kolkata and her native is Mumbai. Her parents are Verinder Singh Bedi and Gita Bedi. She spent her childhood days in South Mumbai. She did her schooling at Cathedral and John Cannon School in Mumbai and finished her graduation in economics from St. Xavier’s College in Mumbai. She continued her post graduation in Media from Sophis Polytech.
Her appearance in TV serial Shanti gave her opportunities in film industry. She acted in the film Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge in 1995. She took part in the reality show Fame Gurukul and anchored the show Deal Ya No Deal. She also hosted the musical reality show Jo Jeeta Wohi Super Star on STAR One.
She was the only female winner in the first season of the Fear Factor India on Sony Entertainment Television. She appeared in many commercials such as Asmi Diamonds, Leher Namkeen, Dabur Vatika, Ebay India, Dettol Extra, etc. she has hosted more than 150 corporate events for companies like ICICI Bank, Asian Paints, Accenture, Deutshche Bank, BMW, LG, Canon, Puma, Citibank, etc.
She had great involvement in cricket that she was made as the brand ambassador of women’s cricket team in India in the years 2004 and 2005. She presented ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 for English News Channel, Timesnow. She is active on Twitter. She married Raj Kaushal on 14th February 1999 and has a baby boy born on 19th June 2011 named Vir.
