Manas Shah Biography

Manas Shah is a popular television actor of Hindi serials, known for portraying supporting roles. He started his career with television show Humari Devrani on Star Plus in 2008, and later acted in Gulaal, Dafa 420, Smile Please Smile Please, Amita Ka Amit, Sankatmochan Mahabali Hanuman, Yam Hain Hum, Ummed Nayi Subna Ki etc. The good looking and talented Manas Shah got noticed for portraying the character of Rohan in Amita Ka Amit and he was seen playing the role of Indra in the popular mythological series on SONY TV - Sankatmochan Mahabali Hanuman aired in 2015. Yam Hain Hum is his most recent work, where he played the role of Krishna.          

Manas is born and brought up in Ahmedabad. He spent his childhood and teens in Ahmedabad, where he completed his school education and graduation. He participated in Zee TVs contest 'Cine Stars Ki Khoj' in 2004 and got through its preliminary round, which enabled him to participate in Mumbai. But he got eliminated in the early stages of the show. But his short stint in the talent hint show developed a new interest in Manas – Acting! Since then he started looking for suitable openings for his new found interest.

He made his debut with Humari Devrani on Star Plus in 2008, where he played one among the six sons of a widow, who wants to get her youngest son married. So, he joins the team in search of a bride. He portrayed the character of Gautam Nanvati in the show and Neelam Panchal played his wife. After got noticed for his debut work, very soon he landed into a series of positive roles. But he gained recognition through the negative shaded character with the series, Amita Ka Amit. He also played the male lead in the Gujarati show - 1760 Sasumaa.
