Mamilla Shailaja Priya Biography 
Mamilla Shailaja Priya is a popular Telugu actress who works in movies and television serials. Made her acting debut with 1998 Telugu movie, Master, she started her television career same year as well and as created a niche of her own in the television industry. The first soap on Gemini TV - "Priya Sakhi", marked her acting debut in television. She is also a recipient of Nandi awards for television in the year 1998. Appeared in more than 60 films in character roles, she mostly acted in Chiranjeevi movies, beginning with her debut flick – Master. She is fondly called Priya.
Priya was born in 1978 in Bapatla, Andhra Pradesh. Known for her blue eyes, she was the youngest of three sisters. After winning a beauty pageant at college, she started her acting career in films and television. She also completed graduation by that time. She got married to MVS Kishore in 2002 and the couple has one son. After her film debut with 1998 Telugu movie, Master, she made her television debut with "Priya Sakhi" the same year which was a runaway hit. She played lead role for the series and won a Nandi award also.
Since then she portrayed numerous lead roles on television, the notable ones being - "Priya Ninu Choodaleka" & "Priya O Priya", and the ‘Priya’ tag got permanently added to her name. Lady Detective, Vaidehi, Sangarshana, Pelli Chesukundam, Dairy of Mrs Sharada, Chinna Kodalu Kotha Bangaaram, Jwaala and Nagamma are among her noted television works. She has also acted in a Hindi serial titled "Yehi hai Zindagi". Apart from being a successful actress, she is also known as a popular TV anchor. She hosted Santoor top 10 on Gemini TV which ran over two years successfully. She has also compared several live shows.
