Malika Haydon Biography

Malika Haydon is a Bollywood actress and model, known for item numbers. She is the elder sister of Lisa Haydon, of ‘Queen’ fame, a supermodel. Malika received big break to Bollywood through the item numbers of the movie – Agent Vinod in 2012. She performed for the songs - “I’ll do the talking tonight” and “Pyar ki pungi”. This 5 feet 9 inches tall model was a Kingfisher calendar of 2012. Malika is DJ by profession and a successful model too.

Malika was born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu on October 19, 1988. Her father Venkat is a Malayali Indian and her mother Anna Haydon is an Australian. Her dad who belongs to a traditional family is a life coach and deconstructs HR departments and mom is a housewife. Her mother is an Australian who came to India to work with mother Teresa. Malika is the eldest of eight siblings. One of her brothers live in Australia, while the rest family in Chennai. One of her brothers is a chef, her sister Lisa Haydon is a well-established Indian model and actress, two sisters run their ballet school, and one sister is a DJ. Malika too is a DJ by profession. Thus she belongs to a creative and open-minded family.

Born in Chennai, Malika Haydon was mostly brought up in Mumbai and Australia. She is not fluent in Hindi. She has a good Australian accent in her English speaking. She completed her schooling from an international boarding school and higher studies from Sydney, Australia. She started her modelling career at the age of 18, and she appeared in a Pepsi commercial song during a cricket world cup one year later. Since then she has become successful as a model. She also has stint in music producing her unique music in the name ‘The Elektrovertz’, apart from performing in clubs.
