Mahesh Babu Biography 
Mahesh Babu is an Indian film actor who focuses in Telugu film industry. He belongs to a family of filmy background and stood before the camera at his age of four as a child artist and acted in nine films as a child. Later he reentered film industry in 1999 in lead role through the film Rajakumarudu.
He was born on 9th August 1975 in Chennai in Tamil Nadu. His father is Ghatamaneni Siva Rama Krishna and his mother is Indira Devi. His elder brother is Ramesh Babu Ghattamaneni and he has two elder sisters, Manjula and Padmavathi and one younger sister Priyadarshini. All of them have acted in films as child artists. He spent his childhood days at Chennai with his grandmother Durgamma. He was called by the nickname of Naani.
He used to accompany his father to the shooting spot and this gave him an interest to stand before the camera. In the debut film of his brother Ramesh Babu Needa he showed his face in a small role and he was only four years old at that time. He completed his schooling at St. Bede’s School in Chennai and got his Honors degree in Commerce from Loyola College in Chennai.
The former Femina Miss India Namrata Shirodkar acted with him in the film Vamsi. She dated her for five years and finally married her on 10th February 2005 and has two kids, a son named Gautam Krishna born on 31st August 2006 and a daughter named Sitara born on 20th July 2012.
He acted in the film Poratam in 1983 when he was 8 years old. He played the role of Krishna’s sibling when he was originally the son of Krishna in real life. He became a successful child artist of his times and acted in some films like Sakharavam, Mugguru Kodukulu, Gudachari and Balachadrudu, etc. Then he wanted to concentrate in his studies and stayed away from camera for quite sometimes.
Later he was reintroduced through the film Raja Kumaruduin 1999. His won him Nandi Award and gave him a good start. He got many chances and performed in many films that include Yuvaraja, Vamsi, Murari, Takkari Donga, Bobby, Okkadu, Nijam, Naani, Arjun, Athadu, Pokiri, Sainikudu, Athidhi, Jalsa, Khaleja, Dookudu, etc.
He also appears in commercials like Navratna Oil, Amrutanjan, Provogue, Univercell, Idea Cellular, Jos Alukkas, Vivel, Mahindra Tractors, Santoor Soap, etc and is the brand ambassador for Thums Up. He has received various awards and honors for his brilliant performance.
